Job Description:

Casepoint is seeking a talented and passionate Director of Business Development to drive the continued expansion of our footprint in the Law Firm and Corporate industry sectors. This role is intended to drive revenue growth from new customers for Casepoint by identifying and qualifying sales opportunities, managing a complex sales/buying process, demonstrating the impact that Casepoint’s technology provides, and closing deals.  As a Director of Business Development, you will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious revenue growth objectives.

This is an exciting opportunity to combine an interest in technology with helping prospective customers to identify and solve their toughest challenges. The ideal candidate can show a proven ability to drive revenue production through communication and outreach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source and develop new sales opportunities through high volume outbound email campaigns, cold calls, and inbound lead follow-up
  • Ensure opportunities are qualified properly and set meetings as appropriate and in accordance with predefined strategic approach and direction
  • Build strong relationships with prospective customers to secure contracts that achieve sales quotas and targets
  • Drive the sales process from initial contact through close, including scheduling and coordinating external sales activities 
  • Maintain information for all sales prospects in Casepoint’s CRM tool
  • Work and communicate collaboratively with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations
  • Collaborate with the rest of the sales team to create an environment of teamwork and meeting goals
  • Maintain and ongoing a high level of relevant knowledge of Casepoint’s technology to drive high-impact discussions with prospects.
  • Draft and deliver proposals
  • Other sales-related duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Ability to build rapport with potential clients
  • Organized and detail-oriented with excellent follow-up skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Interest/experience in technology and sales
  • Team player that will work with others to reach a larger goal
  • Ability to learn and use new technology in a relatively quick manner with instruction
  • Fantastic organizational skills to keep contacts and schedules perfectly in order
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with a CRM such as Salesforce.com
  • Experience in the legal profession/legal tech space a plus but not required
