Casepoint offers all the full-featured eDiscovery capabilities you’d expect. In this respect, our solution is similar to other tools on the market. However, we do offer some very important extras. Our clients tell us that Casepoint is easier to navigate. It takes fewer clicks to get where you want to go. Also, Casepoint gives you one unified platform, which means once your data is ingested, all the discovery phases are supported within a single solution, from Processing, ECA, Analytics and Review to TAR and Production.
However what truly sets us apart is our CaseAssist Artificial Intelligence (AI) functionality, which comes pre-installed into Casepoint. This greatly enhances document analysis and review, saving you time and money. No other platform out there gives you anything like this.
Our standard and most popular pricing model has two primary components: an hourly fee for our services team and a per GB, per month cost for the Casepoint technology. That said, we’re in a unique position to be very flexible with our pricing to meet the unique needs of our clients. So come and talk to us.
No, and that’s one of the great beauties of our approach. Casepoint is a cloud-based solution, so you can use any internet browser on any platform and any device to access your data. There’s no need for any add-ons, plug-ins, or installations.
Yes. As a unified eDiscovery platform, Casepoint includes a comprehensive ECA module. From simple de-duplication to complex analysis of the documents, Casepoint can help you process data to isolate the smallest, most relevant data set for review.
We take security very seriously. Our people, processes, and IT systems adhere to rigorous, internationally recognized standards. We operate a world-class data center and have complete ownership and control of servers, data storage, and networking equipment. Download our detailed security fact sheet here.
Yes, it’s designed and maintained in-house by our own development team. This gives you at least three great benefits. First, we can respond to your needs very quickly. If you have a workflow or enhancement request, we can address it directly and put a proper development plan in place. Second, the overall cost of using Casepoint is reduced, making us very competitively priced. Since we own the technology, we do not have to license any 3rd-party software within our platform. Third, if and when issues occur, we can immediately respond and correct them.
Data storage is calculated on the expanded, cumulative file size of all files stored on Casepoint’s servers, whether that data is stored in FTP, processing, ECA, review, production, or any new features, or on storage provided by Casepoint. If Casepoint stores the data, it will count toward the total data storage in the contract. This data includes, but is not limited to native files, text files, generated TIFFs, database tables, full-text indexes, and exports stored on Casepoint’s servers within each month. That way it’s clear, fair, and complaint-free.
No. Our TAR technology is built into Casepoint and is available to all clients at no additional cost, regardless of matter size. If you require consulting or project management services to implement your TAR, however, that time would be billable and charged at your contractual per-hour rate. The number of billable hours will vary based on the number of iterations required to complete the TAR process and any further assistance needed to use the results to your satisfaction. We can give you a good estimate before you start.
