As Casepoint celebrates our 10 year anniversary in 2018, we have a lot of exciting plans to celebrate this major milestone. We have been doing a lot of reflecting on what makes Casepoint, well….Casepoint. Yes, Casepoint is laser-focused on legal technology, but our Casepoint team is quite diverse. Some of us came from consulting, Big Law, and eDiscovery backgrounds, while others joined after a career shift.

Even with our extensive diversity, we wanted to give a shout out to one of our greatest common interests: our support of, and connection to, Women in eDiscovery (WiE).

Women in eDiscovery (WiE) is an organization that provides educational opportunities regarding technology in the legal industry to its members. They celebrated their own 10 year anniversary last year in 2017. Casepoint is National Sponsor of WiE and over the years Casepoint has sponsored over a dozen WiE events. We are also proud of the fact that our very own team members have been both local and national Directors in the WiE organization and many of our alumni continue in an active role in WiE.

Casepoint is a minority-owned business and over 50% of the members of its workforce are women.

As the global Casepoint family grows across borders, so does its team of women. Even our most technical Casepoint office, located in India, boasts a solid 30% female workforce. They work alongside male colleagues on coding, data analysis, and information systems security. (Not to boast, but that’s a higher percentage of women than the biggest global technology giants.) In reflecting on our 10 years, it is clear that our commitment to diversity, sharing ideas, and creating a community within our team and throughout the industry has enabled us to service our customers with excellence.

So to our friends at Women in eDiscovery, happy belated 10th birthday and here’s to our crossing paths to 10 more.
