Tysons, VA – May 30, 2018

Casepoint LLC, a leader in providing innovative eDiscovery solutions in a single, cloud-based platform, today announced that it has been awarded a 20-year contract to provide eDiscovery products and services to federal government agencies.

Effective immediately, the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) approved Casepoint as an IDIQ (indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity) contractor. The GSA IT Schedule 70 contract authorizes agencies to do business with Casepoint directly, streamlining the process for federal, state and local customers to purchase Casepoint’s eDiscovery cloud-hosted platform and services. The contract is for an initial term of five years with three five-year options to renew and specifically authorizes Casepoint to provide services in two categories: Term Software Licenses (SIN 138 32) and Information Technology Professional Services (SIN 138 51).

“We are honored to be awarded this contract by the federal government, said Amy Hilbert, Vice President of Public Sector, Casepoint. “Casepoint has a long history of working with the public sector and this award is a reflection of our deep commitment to bringing our robust eDiscovery platform to federal agencies and state, and local organizations.”

As an example, in September 2017, Casepoint was also awarded a multi-year contract to serve the Defender Services program in the United States. This multi-million-dollar contract, administered through the Defender Services Office of the Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts, allows federal defender offices and private attorneys who accept Criminal Justice Act (CJA) appointments to use Casepoint in select federal criminal cases. This contract provides critical assistance to these attorneys who are facing increasing volumes of eDiscovery in federal cases.

For access to select case studies and reference material, Casepoint has launched a webpage for our audience in the Government today: https://gov.casepoint.com. Our newly published white paper, “eDiscovery at Government Agencies” is also available on that page and the Downloads section of our website.

According to Amy, today’s announcements are just one of the many public sector initiatives the company has in process. “Our proposal for GSA Schedule 36 (Office, Imaging, and Document solutions) is in review and we are working towards FedRAMP compliance in 2019. We look forward to bringing our robust, cost-effective platform and white glove service to support eDiscovery for more federal, state, and local agencies across the globe.”

GSA’s IT Schedule 70 is a Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) contract for commercial IT products and services that are available to federal agencies worldwide, as well as federal, state, and local organizations.  The award of an IT Schedule 70 means that Casepoint has been vetted as a responsible supplier, pricing has been determined to be fair and reasonable, and that we are in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
