Varun Bisht leads Casepoint’s governance and compliance programs across security, privacy, data governance, risk management, and responsible AI. He helps Casepoint anticipate evolving regulatory and customer requirements while supporting the secure and responsible adoption of emerging technologies.
Prior to joining Casepoint, Bisht spent four years at the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, where he most recently served as Chief Privacy Officer and Deputy Chief for Information and Privacy Governance. He previously held leadership roles at Amazon spanning privacy, IT audit, enterprise risk, and incident management, and earlier worked in business and technology roles at Verizon. Bisht also served for more than eight years in the U.S. Army and U.S. Army Reserve. He holds a Doctor of Information Technology from Capella University and a Master of Science in Business Analytics, Big Data from the University of Massachusetts Lowell.
